Harnessing Playfulness

To say that Faye Toogood has had an incredibly productive Spring would be a sizeable understatement. She was Designer of the Year at Maison & Objet in Paris with her provocative Wo-manifesto installation; guest of honour at Stockholm Furniture Fair, where her MANUFRACTURE concept lifted the veil on unfinished models and studio experiments; her Toogood Collection 022 was launched at Paris Fashion Week; and her exhibition Assemblage 7: Lost and Found II, ran at Friedman Benda Gallery in New York. Now that the dust has settled a bit, the full breadth of Toogood’s outpourings has revealed itself.
